I know it has been too long!

So I guess I am one of those people that loves the idea of blogging, but just doesn't get to it. I want to keep you guys updated and I love seeing everyone elses, but I get lazy. Especially now. I am ready to have a baby! I have to have a c-section so it is scheduled for October 28th. I wish I was having a November baby, but I don't want to wait that long anymore. We are excited although nervous. I hope Bailey will do well. I am sad because she can't come to the hospital to see him because of the crazy flu stuff. I understand, but I am sad I won't see her. So I don't have internet at home anymore it is just on my phone and I haven't figured out how to blog from it so I am at my moms. I will get to it so I can put on new pictures!

Anyway I love this time of year, autumn is beautiful and calming. I love the crisp smell of fall outside and the atmosphere of football games. I have been craving granny smith apples so this has been a good time of year for that! Well, Happy Halloween, I will post baby pictures!

IT'S A .........

Sooooooooo We are going to have a boy!! We had our ultrasound on Wednesday and it was very exciting. We took Bailey so that she could see pictures of the baby and maybe understand things a little bit more, but what I didn't know is that she already understands a lot. Since the beginning she has wanted a baby sister. When we ask her she always says she wants the baby to be a girl, which I didn't think she really understood that either until the ultrasound. When we saw the picture we all said IT'S A BOY! Well Bailey busted into tears and was so upset. I asked her if she was sad it was a boy and she said YEAH with a big sobb afterwards. It was really funny. My mom had to take her out and luckily they had suckers there. So we are still working on it and trying to help her to be excited about a boy. I didn't think she really got it and I was mistaken. Two year olds sure understand alot don't they!!

STRAWBERRIES!

We just ate the first strawberry out of our little garden! Okay this wasn't it, it was quite a bit smaller than this, but it was still really good. We have lots of green ones that are starting to change color. It is exciting to see things grow, especially when you plant it yourself. I saw Megan's blog about strawberries and I have to agree they are delicious and the best summer treat. I hope we get lots of them this year!

New News

It has been a long time since I have been on the computer. I haven't kept in touch with all of you like I have wanted to. I have been feeling very sick for that last 13 weeks. Yes I am pregnant and I thought I would share the news. We are excited, especially Bailey, although she really doesn't understand much of it yet. We have been talking about a baby in my belly and she says that she has a baby in her belly too. It is quite cute. She is quite the mamas girl so I am really nervous to see how she will handle sharing me with a little one. I guess all parents worry about that when the next one comes along, but if you know Bailey at all, you would be worried too!!! So hello to all, it is great to keep in touch.

BAILEY'S BIRTHDAY

So my little baby girl is now two. I can't believe it. It just goes by way too fast. She acts so big and thinks she can do everything by herself. She had a very good birthday and had two days to celebrate. One night with my family and the other with Paul's family. It was great!
Grandma Karla made her a birthday cake, she loved it. She ate a ton of it, I thought she was going to be sick.




I made her a barbie cake and that was fun until I pulled the barbie out. It scared her.

Montana was great!

We had alot of fun sledding and being together. We spent five days there for a conference that Paul had to go to. It was beautiful!

Swimming

We have spent a lot of time at the pool. Bailey loves it.

New Years!

New Years Eve was great! We went to my sister Kendra's house to party! Yes I got covered in silly string and wasn't happy about it! Plus I couldn't get the lid off of mine to fight back! I shouldn't complain, Nate got alot more of it than I did.

This is the party clan. I was sad Chad and Nat weren't there. We missed them.My favorite part about the party is the food! We bring the chocolate fountain every year and it is a hit! Bailey just liked gettting the fruit on the tooth picks.

Christmas break with the Fam

Christmas break was very nice. Paul didn't have to work since he teaches school now so that was great! Both of my brothers and their families were in town! Samara and Bailey got in the hot tub with grandma (grandma wouldn't let me take a picture of her). Bailey thought the sun was just too bright so she needed her sunglasses. We brought snow in for them to play with and Bailey couldn't figure out why it kept melting!We spent the day at my sister Kendra's house. Samara, Bailey and Maddy finally decided that they could maybe play together!

Sorry this is upside dowm, I don't know how to change it. We went sledding and I thought Bailey would be terrified, but she loved it!

Christmas I know I am a little late!

Christmas was wonderful! I didn't have to work this year! We spent Christmas Eve at Paul's parents and had a candle light dinner with them.

We got a new camera so that has been fun to play with. I can't believe how out of date technology can be. Our camera was 5 years old and it was time to retire.
So this is how it is at my moms house every year. Yes it is a little crazy, but I love it. All of the little girls got stuffed horses from Nettie and Sage and Bailey loves hers.

Bailey got a kitchen set! It was so fun to see her face when she saw it. She is such a perfectionist so she gets very upset when the pizza wont stay on the plate, or the microwave won't close. She seriously needs anger managment classes haha! I love this time of year!
