Holiday Treats

I always love the holidays because there are sooooo many goodies to make and enjoy. These are my apple dumplings. They are just cored and peeled apples with cinnamon and sugar inside. Then you wrap them up in pie crust and bake them. Last but not least you pour on the caramel and scoop up the ice cream! Bailey is going to be a great little cook. She had to help me roll out the dough and pretty much try everything I did. It was very fun, but then she wanted to play in the flour and that was too much for me. I hope all of you enjoy your Thanksgiving! If you want the recipe it is really easy and you will look like a pro chef!

YUMMY (My college roommates will appreciate this word!

Bailey is always my big helper so we made some cupcakes and she just had to eat the batter. She kept dipping her spoon in the bowl so I finally just gave her the spatula and beaters. Its a good thing I stripped her down before she started.
Isn't it great being a kid!

You Get what you deserve

So while Bailey was taking a bath I was experimenting with my blog, (trying to figure things out) and she decided to pour water all over the floor. I guess that is what I get for not paying attention. I was just outside the door. I guess I am already starting to zone things out. I always hated when my sisters weren't paying attention to what their kids were doing and now I am turning into them!

Halloween!

So my husband set this blog up in March and it has taken until now to actually do something with it. I don't get on the computer much more than to do bills and then I started hearing about everyone's blogs so I decided to check them out. It is so fun read about how everyone is doing and I want to keep in touch with all of you since the phone calls are non existent. Well I needed help so Amy gave me a walk through on how to do this so I am trying to learn.
I know Halloween is over but I thought I would start with our fun weekened. My neice Cambria had a costume party and Paul and I won the funniest costume award with mustard and ketchup. Bailey was a chicken. My sister in-law had the costume for her little girl last year. She loved it.

On Friday night Bailey who is 20months old caught on quick to the concept of Halloween! We went to my sister Kendra's house and went with her kids. Bailey was running to catch up with them. It was so cute seeing her waddle down the street. She carries her bucket around all day and likes to dump the candy out and stare at all of it. We had a blast and I have lots of candy to eat!

And so you can see that I am learning how to do this because I copied the same picture twice and I don't know how to delete it so you can look at it again. I am looking forward to writing and keeping in touch better with all of you.
